Expectations

Expectations of Crossroads Students

All Crossroads students are expected to follow the 6 P's while enrolled in Crossroads:

  • Prompt
  • Polite
  • Prepared
  • Participate
  • Pma
  • Produce

The 6 P's are designed to help students recognize appropriate behavior in all aspects of their lives.

Students are also expected to follow the 5 Attending Skills.

  • Being In The Moment
  • Appropriate Body Language
  • Appropriate Eye Contact
  • Appropriate Feedback
  • Ask Questions To Clarify Or Validate

The attending skills help students learn what skills are needed to be able to fully pay attention to what is going on and how to focus on the task at hand.

All students are expected attend school from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Parents must call or write a note to excuse a student within 24 hours of the absence.

Tardy students will receive a readmit slip from the refocus room to be admitted to class.

Students will not be allowed into class without a readmit slip.
